Aerodynamic Models of Complex Objects

We develop mathematical models describing real-time behaviour of aerodynamic objects of complex shape and solve research problems and educational tasks.

The Laboratory of Computer Modelling provides:

  • A simulation model of the object, taking into account its characteristics in the drawing and the scale model test results in a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel has a uniform field air flow 1.5 m diameter.
  • A definition of the zones of admissible speeds and the positions of the object according to the parameters of stall flow and loads on the object.

 

Development of mathematical models can be performed in environments such as ANSYS and Pipe or in the languages C, C++, and C#. The customer receives it the form of Oberosterreich polynomials.

The necessary input data includes:

  • Theoretical drawings of the simulated object with dimensions and its moving parts’ limitations;
  • Monitoring system information (including sensors), for further evaluation of the accuracy of the model.
